Can't argue with you on this one. I usually don't read camp reports because it seems everyone is an all pro. Gunter is getting raves by some people and in every other report about a WR doing good it is always against Gunter.

If given more time to grow then who knows maybe he could become a very good player. Some of the other Packers bump and run CBs in Al Harris and Tramon Williams weren't able to make their team as rookies ... but another team gave them a chance with time to grow and they became pretty good. Maybe Gunter just needs more time to be consistent.
Though based on one of Mike McCarthy comments sounds like Gunter needs to show more on STs... though as a saying goes, on ST speed kills... and Gunter lacks said speed.
Of course the Packers normally keep 6 CBs and they only currently have 7 signed (if you count Hyde as a Safety where he's been practicing). And so assuming Shields, Hayward, Randall and Rollins are locks, then the following 3 of Gunter, Goodson and Glover-Wright are competing for 2 spots. Of course if the Safety depth outplaces the CB depth in theory they could move Hyde back over.
