You are on record that this D will be Top 5, or better, barring numerous injuries. Injuries to who?

I think our D will be in the 20-32 range. We have a giant disparity there.

I'm not sure how much stock I would put into absolute defensive ranking though, be it points or yards. As long as the Packers continue to be a top 5 team in passer rating differential , they'll be a force to be reckoned with.

I'm real interested to see how the inside our defense shapes up. Counting on a raji resurgence over here.

The Packer's Offense is not and has never been this thread's topic. The Packer Offense is not a concern. The concern is and continues to be the Defense of the Packer's.

Can they stop the run ?
Can they stop the pass ?

Gonna be curious to see what some post after Thursdays game.

Try to remember it's the 1st preseason game.
I'm betting The Packers will be in their base defense the whole game.
The rookies and UDFA's are going to see a ton of work.

This is the time to start determining which guys really belong.

Really don't expect to see much if any of Doms creative defenses until the 3rd game, then not a whole lot, just enough to please the home crowd.

Looking forward to seeing which of the young guys make a statement the next 4 weeks.

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

There will be a lot of individual evaluations.

It sure would be nice to have a top ten defense again in GB. It seems like forever since that has happened (95-96?). I don't think most teams will be able to hold our offense down so that they can grind out a run game on us, so the most important aspect of our defense will be pass rush. We have a lot of tweener players that can line up all over the defensive front, which should only help the pass rush. But I'm really skeptical about our young secondary, and idea of the most important player on the defense being Sam Shields, because if he goes down with an injury - the Packers defense is in serious trouble.

Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : Too bad camera's can't spot the ball as well.
Mucky Tundra (1-Apr) : So will the chain gang be gone completely or will they still be around as a backup or whatever?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : A big step in the right direction. Just put in the college system is very very good.
