I found this amusing Saturday and thought I'd share.

Brett's under shirt has a purple tint to it.

What color underwear was Favre wearing?!?!
Just a lot of nothing to make a big deal about.
You KNOW that there are some that were just LOOKING for something to go "LOOK!!!look at the TRAITOR!!"
If you look for trouble you will find it.

Why wear purple? Why? Why not wear green or yellow? One of the kids in purple dress? No, that's not intentional.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

At his flag football game, what color did he wear?
Honestly, a lot of nothing trying to be made into something.

It's all a ruse folks. Favre is just in it for the money. Packers fans are being duped.

While it is true that if you seek trouble, it is what you will find, this is absolutely nothing to do with that. I was going to do a write up on the positives of what I witnessed and when I observed the wardrobe I couldn't believe the shirt was purple.

So I must ask this. What hurt the fans of the Packers the most? Was it that he retired? Was it that he came back? Was it that he played for the Jets? No, it was that he WANTED to play for the Vikings (or Bears), the bitter rival of the Packers. That is what hurt the fans the most and he's sporting their color at his Packer Hall of Fame induction?

Fans hurt by Brett playing for the Vikings really need to understand that the Vikings were the best team in the NFL that needed only a QB to be Super Bowl contenders. Brett also wanted to play for the Bears, who also had a very good defense, the best special teams and you add a Brett Favre and instantly they are contenders too.

Did sporting a purple hue shirt make any fans turn on Brett? No, not a chance. Did the shirt choice make some lean the other way who were on the fence of forgiveness? Perhaps, although, I doubt it.

If you like Brett, you couldn't care less if he came out in purple and yellow crocs.
If you hate Brett he could have came out and said the worst two years of his life were being a Vikings fan and started singing THE BEARS STILL SUCK and you know what, those fans would still hate Brett.

So, is it a big deal? Nope, but since you went off the deep end, I figured I would counter with some more observational material sprinkled with facts. [giddity]

Can't say I even noticed. Can't say I really care. Could he have worn a green or yellow shirt? Sure, but he could have worn a pink one or a blue one or a tie died one as well. I can only think of one type of person that this would bother and for them it wouldn't have mattered what color shirt he wore. Maybe that's what he was thinking. If you don't like me you don't like me. Nothing I can do at this point will change your mind so here is another reason for you to not like me. I can't wait to see this blow up on the internet.

Here's my "facts".
If you(i mean anyone that hates Favre, not you Zero)
Really hate the guy, why would you even watch, or give a damn about Favres clothing?
Some watched so that they could find something to pick on the guy about.
I don't hate or love Brett Favre. And when he played for the Queens I cheered against him.
I watched his HOF thing to remember his time here.
I don't care, and didn't even notice what color shirt he had on.
I just think it's nit picking.
At his flag football game he wore PACKER colors, not a purple jersey.
So was his light purple shirt a dig? I don't know. I don't really care.
That's just me I guess.
