I'm not looking over them, and I agree it will be a tough game. But the Packers are still the better team and should win the game unless they have an off day.

In other words, I'm more concerned with the Packers beating themselves, than the Bears beating them. Either way, it's an L regardless if that were to happen.

I'm not sure any of the players lost due to suspensions would have that much of an impact on the Packers' championship chances.

Our D is already our achilles heel without issues heading into Week 1. Not even going to get into the whole having to overpay that duo to keep them.

There is negative energy surrounding the Packers. Intangibles as Jimmy the Greek used to call them when he'd forecast games.

Of course, when you look at the two conference championships games and you see New England destroyed Indy and Green Bay blew it vs. Seattle and then you factor Green Bay beat New England last year it's little wonder the logical conclusion is going to be Green Bay, especially with a healthy Rodgers. Just don't let all this negativity destroy what looks to be a chance at a truly special season. There is no excuse to not march to the show this season.

I'd be curious to see some numbers but it seems the Packers have been weak on third down th last couple years. Some of this is play calling...which McCarthy is giving up this year, and some of this is a lack of a weapon at TE. RR seemed to step up in that role toward the end of the year.

I think both will be better this year.

On defense, the Achilles seemed to be lack of pass rush at times, softness against the run, and an inability to cover over the short middle with the LB. With Raji up front again, Peppers getting more comfortable at OLB and moving Matthews around, I think all of those things will be better as well.

I have no idea whether Zook will make the ST better but he HAS to be better than what we've had. If our ST goes from last to say 20th this year, that will make a huge difference.

All of this sounds like a team trying to get into contention...and yet they were a few boneheads short of the Super Bowl LAST year. At the same time, people seem to be figuring out the Seattle D a little. Lynch is older, and their O-Line is weaker, so while they are still a top notch team, I don't see them as being able to get past us this year, especially if there is a playoff meeting in GB.
