I don't understand why you think the fans/org is saying that, though. No we didn't go hog wild in F.A. but that isn't the only way to win, it's not the only way to show you care about winning.

We've seen 1 year of what RR can do. We know Quarless is at least competent albeit certainly far from spectacular, and I'm assuming Ted felt we were "good enough" there so he could focus elsewhere.

Signing Reggie, Eugene, and Beebe are one way to improve your roster or say "good isn't good enough." D&D is another way to address the roster. The Packers saw CB is the biggest need this offseason and they went after it in the draft. The augmented their ST with Monty. They cleaned house at ILB and are relying on returning potential and Ryan. They're addressing needs, just not in the way Wolf did.

The Seahawks have lost quite a few players.

So let me get this straight, Uffda and I have to tell all of you the players we need? Do you all have any idea how stupid that is? We have a GM to do that, but he puts way too much faith in his draft and develop system. We say Thompson did nothing, again, to fix the tight end position. What's it been 3 years since Finley played? I think in that amount of time, Thompson could have adequately filled the position. That's GM failure.

Are we set a safety and corner, I'm sure not convinced? It's been a long time since Collins has been injured. It sure is nice to spend some high draft picks there, but are any of them accomplished players yet? That two point conversion should have been knocked down, and that play Dix should have been made in his sleep.

You guys can ridicule Uffda and me all you want, we have valid concerns and are voicing them. We are wasting Aaron Rodgers' career.

As for TE, we've got RR. He will be more than adequate for the time being. Are there better players at the position to ever have played the game? Probably. However as I've stated repeatedly, he had about 30 more receptions his rookie year than Finley had. So let's see how he looks in year 2.

As for Dix, he was a rookie. Let's either compare him to Nick Collins as a rookie or wait until he's in his prime to make the comparison.

PLAYERS aren't what kept us out of the SB last year.

Probably????????????? That's hilarious. Probably?

We've got RR for now...that's like saying we have AJ Hawk, for now, last year. Of course you're going to have someone...but is that someone going to help you win?

Not players fault last year? Brandon Bostick can't do his job on an onside? Tramon can't cover a bomb vs. Seattle's WRs? Dix can't make a play on a 2 point conversion that any kid in pee wee football would've made. I can still hear Aikman asking how in the world he missed it? Those are PLAYERS who did NOT make PLAYS. This could go on forever... yes, we play NOT TO LOSE, that is a HUGE pet peeve. Just tell me why you love playing not to lose off the field so much? You love that about our GM... we're synced as an org...we are a play it safe org. Plod along. Don't take chances. How you love one and hate the other is odd. I'm for all out off the field and on it...why play any sport if that ain't how you're going to do it. That's not leaving it all out there...

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

How long was the inside linebacker position ignored, because we had awesome players in AJ Hawk and Brad Jones? Stupidity like that costs you championships. You don't get players like Aaron Rodgers every day. Isn't it the responsibility of the GM to put forth the very best team he can assemble and not go into each season with glaring holes?

The tight end position is weak, and our OT position is sketchy. And I've been praying for a Megatron/Dez Bryant type of talent at WR for a long time, just to make Rodgers' job easier.

We have a smaller window with Rodgers than people want to admit to. Basically 2011 through 2015 were pissed away. How many more will be like that. Like I've said, I've watched this movie before with Favre's career.

"Draft and develop" isn't to have to depend on them as rookies. We HAVE to do that because we don't use FA. You honestly think drafting for need is a good thing to begin with? You draft for need because you need a starter and that's never a good approach. The BPA is skipped over because you're looking for a starter at ONE position. You end up drafting who you think is best at ONE position instead of ALL positions. Is it a wonder that's kinda dumb?

I know you can get production from rookies...it ain't a sound strategy to depend on it.

The O, Buck, is fine minus the TE position. Where have I been railing the O other than RZ where TE is a big reason they suck down there? I said, today, and a long time ago I think our O is good enough to carry us to an undefeated regular season.

Very well could be counting on Gunter, any of the TE's once Quarless is suspended/cut and RR gets hurt, or even if he doesn't. Who is playing DL the first few weeks? Will Gaston not have to play? I already detailed what very well could happen because of how we're set up. You didn't need to reask...just reread.
