Player you were most hyped for but flopped?

For me it was Brian Brohm.

I have never been so far off on a guy than Brohm. Watching him and Flynn in the preseason was cringe-worthy.
I thought I saw Hasselbeck 2.0.

First name that comes to mind is RB Chris Darkins out of Minnesota. The college should have been a warning for pending disappointment.

Javon Walker if not injured and then suffered a tragedy of seeing one of his best friends murdered right next to him may have been Hall of Fame worthy. He was far from being a flop.

JOhnathan Franklin and Terrence Murphy, but those are injury type situations.

Stryker Sulak, OLB, but only because of his name.

I had some high hopes for Jamon Meredith. The sum looked like it was so much more than the parts. When he dropped past his projected picks in the 2nd round, I was hoping we picked him up. Then we took him in the 5th I was stoked... 'till the Bills grabbed him off of our practice squad.

Sherrod. With Tauscher and Clifton coming to an end, just getting Bulaga and then getting Sherrod, the timing would have been perfect to have bookend tackles to protect our franchise QB for the next decade. Of course, this was injury related also.

Non injury related I'll go with Brohm. If he had come out the year before he would have been a #1 pick. I thought we would have a good backup for a couple of years and then get some great draft picks, which is hard to do when you consistently win. But...
