I think it's because a lot of the players and coaches (which is 2/3 of the vote) didn't want to vote for two GB CBs so it was between Harris and Woodson.

Harris got the nod from more people and there wasn't enough to go around for Woodson.

Harris might of got it because he was on the other teams #1 guy, he deserved in years before last year but never got it and he was getting a lot of media hype last year.

Al Harris is over rated. Not his fault; he just is. Woodson on the other hand is a play maker. He makes game changing plays, and can shut down any receiver. I can't remember the last time Al Harris made a game changing play. 2004 maybe.

I'll side with the Al Harris is over rated now, but I have to say that he doesn't get a chance to make many big plays or game changing plays because his guy doesn't get much attention. Unless its one of those taller more physical guys. Terrel Owens, Plaxico Burris and etc...

Yeah he used to be able to just plain out shut down one side of the field. He gets no stats and no game changing plays but taking the other teams best WR out of the game was something he could do. Harris deserve it other years and never got it. I'm happy he got it one year even though he may not of deserve it that year.

Im a rap guy too but NO to that song...Its hard to find decent rap music today with all that club/southern noise ruining the songs...Try some classic songs like some 90's rap....Maybe house of pain's jump around? that would fit nicely with highlights...

I think from now on we put him on the opponent's #1 wide out (for when Harris comes back)

"beast" wrote:

Haven't the Packer already done that? Other than maybe the Vikings game I say yes.

I think Calvin Johnson is better than Roy Williams and Woodson got Johnson. I think Owens is thee best WR on that team and Woodson got him.

I don't think their going to do as #1 or #2....

I think their going to do it as put Harris on the WR that gives Harris the best match up and then give Woodson the best of the rest. And Williams will get the left overs.

When they played the Lions, Roy Williams was still regarded as their #1 receiver. But Woodson played Dallas's #1 guy, obviously. I think they will mix it up now, depending on the matchups. Maybe that was the plan all along. After all, Harris has always done well against Roy Williams, and the Vikings don't really have a #1 receiver.

Woodson = the best FA signing outside of Reggie White. Gotta love his playmaking ability and his toughness. It's amazing how he can play at such a high level with injuries.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

Agreed. Thank you Ted Thompson for signing him, and thank you Charles Woodson for choosing Green Bay.

woodson should of been number 1 since the day he got here ... his the best cb in the nfl and always has been. He never liked oakland that's why he never actually tried. His the best cb ... qb's are mostly scared to test woodson side even his days in oakland

Woodson > any cb in nfl
