woodson should of been number 1 since the day he got here ... his the best cb in the nfl and always has been. He never liked oakland that's why he never actually tried. His the best cb ... qb's are mostly scared to test woodson side even his days in oakland
Woodson > any cb in nfl

When Woodson got here Harris was shuting down almost any teams #1 guy at that time. Which means that left Woodson against the number 2 guy.
Which it's easier to make plays against the #2 guy than it is the #1 guy. So basically the Packers put the play maker on the guy it was earier to make plays on which helped the team more than putting Harris on the #2 guy would of.
So lettig Harris shutting down the #1 guy and Woodson on the guy that easier to make plays on helped the whole team more than putting Woodson on the #1 and Harris on the #2, because Woodson once in a while goes for the big play and you don't want to let the #1 get the big play and Harris wouldn't of make some of the big plays that the Woodson made against the #2 guy.
Also Woodson did try and he did good in oakland it's just that he had no flash in oakland because the QB wouldn't even look his way much less throw his way because he was so good and the rest of the DBs were so bad.
That's like it still is in Oakland with Nnamdi Asomugha which I've heard he has only had 4 passes throw his way this season before last week.
Between that and a few injuries the NFL GMs thought he's good career was over.
Other than Ted Thompson. Woodson didn't want to sign with Green Bay because he heard some bad things but did because no other team was really close to what the Packers were offering and he sign here.
So thanks Ted Thompson for seeing the talent and going after him and thanks to the other 31 GMs at the time for thinking his career is over or basically done.
