I try to speak in a sarcastic humoristic way. Sorry, it comes across as being an A-hole.

That same mentality of needing to fit in from way way back exists today in people in their 30's, 40's, 50's and later.

Fitting in is great, when it's something you actually believe in... I feel for all the souls trying to fit in for the sake of fitting in that feel more alone by their pseudo belonging. Been there...long ago.

I agree with the limited concept of this thread - never apologize, etc. - and also the idea of not giving a shit what people think of you. Just the same, both of you guys need to realize what you are - ALL OUT LOONS - one in the field of sports and the other in politics.

"Asshole" implies a certain kind of style - which both of you have, and that's no big deal, not to me at least, although I suppose there are some who are disgusted by your assholic treatment of others. Being a LOON is a matter of substance - being consistently on the wrong side of issues. That is distinctly worse - especially in the realm of politics when somebody pisses all over the magnificence of life in America.

Uffda, I hereby invite you, as a prolific writer, albeit mostly wrongheaded in sports, to join the world of political posting. If you are a leftist - as I suspect even though you have yet to express it, Dakota could use some help - pathetic as he is, he is the only one of his sick kind with the balls to even try hahahahaha. If you have a decent outlook on things, well, I guess there is always room for another right-thinking American.

Politics? I find that a total waste of time. The word itself connotes frivolous pursuit. I'm not a lefty. We have talked politics before but you must've wiped that from your memory. I've been here a shade over a year and you've forgotten already.

I have never treated anyone poorly with intent. If it comes across that way my sincere apology. This is entertainment. Nothing more.

I've toyed with getting some business cards that include "Part-time asshole" on them.

And as I move farther into "middle age," I believe more and more that if no one considers you a "loon," you're doing something wrong.

I've always had ideas that other people consider loony. It took me awhile to realize I worried too much about what others think.

Now, I don't much care. I still can change my mind when shown logic and evidence. But I have thought long and hard about all of those loony ideas of mine. While they may still be wrong, there's enough logic and evidence behind them that *I* know they aren't loony.

I'd rather be thought loony than be boring and "normal."

So maybe I'll add "Loony" to those business cards.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

At age 13 you arn't mature enough to make an important decision.
I think if you say you don't give a s**t about what people think about you, you arn't being totally honest.
You must have been REALLY hurt by someone at that age to come up with that kind of "solution".

I do care what people think about me. That said though, I will stand up for what I believe in first and foremost.

I think you can make you position known without purposely treating others like crap. If you can't make a point without personal attacks and name calling then maybe your opinion needs to be rethought. Name calling and being a bully is what I think a 13 year old would do.

And making a blanket statement like all people in authority are full of crap.......I would expect that from a 13 year old too. Not from an adult man.
Yes, some that are in authority shouldn't be there. But some are not bad leaders.
A closed mind at age 13 doesn't allow you to grow past that age.
Just my opinion......which coming from me will automatically make you "pooh pooh" it away, I'm sure. I know what you think of me. You made that clear many times in the past.

I'm surprised you see politics as a waste of time. Politics is life and death; It's what makes everything we enjoy in life possible, NFL football for example - can you imagine it and other sports in a Communist or Muslim dominated country?

I compliment you on not being a lefty. I almost wish you were. We could use a more competent voice for all of the wrongheaded positions than the primary leftist loon now spewing.

I will stay out of the "asshole" question, as it really doesn't bother me one way or the other. It seems to me that part of enjoying a forum is being free to act like an asshole. If somebody can't stand the heat, they should stay outta the kitchen hahahaha ......... or is that only in the Back Alley.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.

Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH

Mucky Tundra (19-Jun) : One person on Twitter=cannon law
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : Well, to ONE person on Tweeter
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : According to Tweeter
