Do you really read for comprehension or are you just quick to fire a rebuttal so you can attempt to feel smart? I DON'T BELIEVE Houston runs a WCO. Do they right now? ...I didn't recall them running WCO ever... do you understand what I DON'T BELIEVE means vs. Houston never ran a WCO? I wasn't sure but didn't recall them running one. IF MEMORY SERVES, and it usually does as I post from memory not googling like you have to do. Memory didn't serve in this rare instance. You come here after googling to try and say I have made something up or am wrong. Fun times for me. You should savor the flavor. You know how many chances you get to do what you attempted to do here.

A simple google search will tell you that Kubiak grew up under the WCO system of 49ers; everything else was from memory because, you know, I tend to be a fan of the NFL in addition to being a die hard Packer fan.

You want to have original ideas, great! You want to buck "conventional thinking", great! But you can bet I'm calling you out on your faulty reasoning when it is wrong / not supported by data - especially when a quick search can confirm matters for you.

How do you see Davantes regression through the season? I saw a player who was very up and down throughout the season just like you could expect from a rookie, his playoff game in Dallas and his regular season game against patriots are the 2 games that stand out to me as his best, and both came in the second half of the season. I was in Miami for that game and he was good in that, but the 2 others standout more to me.

How is Aaron going to have confidence in him when his big thing is preparation? Davante looked terribly unprepared way too often at the end of the season.

The play I'm referring to in Miami was the fake spike play...by far, his best play of the season. So savvy. Nelson was clueless on that play but Davante got it and made a play and almost scored there. A critical play at that point in the game. Davante doesn't have his head more than on there we likely lose to Miami.

I hope he progresses...his head worries me more than his lack of speed.

My memory is usually rock solid...it wasn't in this case. I have to do better...if there is doubt, I should google instead of just trusting the old noodle. I don't ever need to make blank sure of anything here...I know I have fans like you who will ravenously come to point out any inaccuracies. The checks and balances are awesome.

I never said Johnson couldn't play in a WCO and further I didn't even say that had I said he never played in one...just that it would be a concern if he hadn't.

If the Vikings dumped Jennings I'd be for giving him a look lol. I don't know if his ego could handle that though.

Is Johnson willing to be the third or fourth WR (and be paid like one)? I doubt both.

And so I think it ain't gonna happen, no way, no how.

(which, given my predictive abilities, of course means he'll sign with GB in about 45 minutes.)

Even if Johnson can play in our system and wants to come to GB, I'm not so sure Ted would be giddy to get him. With Aberdaris, Janis, Myles White, and Davante in the mix, I'm not sure Ted is anxious to add a veteran talent that could overshadow his younger receivers development.

That said, if you had Johnson on the outside with Adams, a slot duo of Jordy / Cobb would be absolutely killer against any opposing defence. Especially against a Seattle, whose starting CBs don't play the slot and their nickel back is injured for most (if not all) of the upcoming season, you have to think Jordy / Cobb in the slot would eat their nickle/dime backs alive.

You could see some frustration on the Seahags as we kept getting first downs and kept drives alive.

He did go over 1000 yards last season with crappy QB play (google on the yards) but he did only have 3 TD's. Nice seeing him end with 10 catches for 134 in his season finale with the Texans.

If you have to beat Seattle and their killer secondary, it sure couldn't hurt having him if he can adjust to us and Aaron quickly. We have a nice receiving corps but it's overshadowed by Seattle's secondary. Andre would pull us even or give us an advantage where there once was a deficit.
Ted Thompson did pull Peppers last year...I would let Peppers walk in favor of Johnson. Julius just scares me coming into this season with his age and his general approach to the game over the years. I'm afraid giving up for him might be a little too easy.

Andre went with Luck in Indy.

I would rather have Michael Johnson who was cut by Bucs...we were interested in him, previously.

Mucky Tundra (2h) : @AaronNagler · 2m Both Jordan Love and Malik Willis were Limited participants at Packers practice today.
Zero2Cool (4h) : Johnson didn't make it until 2020. Ring 2023. 🤷 Personally, he should have been in years prior to Hall.
Zero2Cool (4h) : HUMP DAY
beast (5h) : Guys that have a good shot at making the NFL Hall of Fame usually get into their teams pretty fast
beast (5h) : Yeah, but is Kampman and the others in the NFL Hall of Fame?
Zero2Cool (5h) : Johnson was Hall of Fame, 2020. Should haev been in Ring a year later, not three years.
Zero2Cool (5h) : I could be wrong there though
Zero2Cool (5h) : Guys like Kampman, Tim Harris, Al Harris, etc all over 15 years. Hall of Fame is 5 year wait
Zero2Cool (5h) : I guess I see players in Packers Hall come way later
beast (5h) : Yeah, usually teams hall of fames are a much lower bar than the NFL
Zero2Cool (5h) : is it uncommon for Hall before Ring?
Zero2Cool (5h) : S Xavier McKinney named first-team All-Pro by NFLPA
beast (7h) : I missed it, sorry, but he got into the NFL Hall of Fame years before that
Zero2Cool (7h) : Jones took his sweet ole time!
Zero2Cool (7h) : Yeah, he's in the ring of honor, just saw video and his name is up there
Zero2Cool (7h) : Didn't they have a thing in 2023 for Jimmy's ring of honor? I swear I saw it
beast (7h) : Though if they're legitimately trying to re-sign MM, then it makes sense.
beast (7h) : Jerry Jones still hasn't put Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor, but he's in the NFL's Hall of Fame, Jones is petty
Mucky Tundra (19h) : Unless the Cowboys are planning an extension, seems kinda petty
beast (21h) : Cowboys denied Bears request
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : From what I'm reading, MM is under contract through the 14th of January; after that he's free game
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : McCarthy let go or not extended??
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Chicago Bears have asked the Dallas Cowboys permission to interview Mike McCarthy for head coaching vacancy
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : The winners page that is
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : I was not hoping for that. It messes up the page lol
beast (6-Jan) : Thank you, and I was really opening we were going to get 4 or more tied for the top 3.

Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : Packers have $60M+ of 2025 cap space on paper TODAY.
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Missed FG into a Lions TD; that'll do pig, that'll do
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : That might be it for the Vikings
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Oh so the refs do know what intentional grounding is
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : what the hell was that Goff?! Not much pressure and he just air mails it to Harrison
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : They really need to to get rid of the auto first down for illegal contact
Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : didn't have guys in his face ... pressure makes difference
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Where was this Darnold vs GB?
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : BALL DON'T LIE
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : how was that not a safety? Goff throws it at an offensive lineman
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero, I thought that was a given! ;)
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero I looked through earlier and noticed the same thing. Bonkers year. I just wonder if beast put any money on games
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : I'm hoping for BLOODBATH. Pummel one another.
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : 8 people in pick'em would have won any year with their total lol
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : I'm rooting for the Lions to lose.
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : God help me but I'm rooting for the Vikings to...Vikings to...Christ I can't say it
