Ted Thompson must not be a good GM to you anymore because good GM's stick to their numbers and don't budge. 🙂

I was surprised to learn that RC18 will cost us 12.75 million against that cap in each of his final two years of his new deal. Almost 13 million for Randall two years from now? That's pretty steep. I'm very surprised at the breakdown of the cap hits. Perhaps, a two year deal, in essence?

Hmmm.... 6.5 million dead money if we release him after two years...and 3.25 million if we release him heading into year 4. I gotta believe he's with us for 3 seasons, and renegotiated or gone for the 4th year.
