In the video link you posted, you can see the first contact is made to the chin spinning Wilson's head as clay also gets him in the chest. Without a doubt he it Wilson in the head.

Front view. Leading shoulder either barely misses or barely scrapes the bottom of his chin. Looks like his back shoulder might ram into his entire chin though on the followthrough.

I don't see any point in the entire video where you can with a reasonable degree of certainty say that any part of matthews contacted anything but the very, very, very bottom of Wilson's chin. Much less "without a doubt hit in the head". Regardless, fine him for a hit to the head and I'll grumble and move on. Call it a blindside block and suddenly it's a subject that hasn't been beaten to death 🙂

I don't really agree with penalizing someone for throwing a block square into another players chest be it a QB or a lineman (especially when that player was trying to make a tackle and was just a couple yards away from the ball carrier). If he blindsided him by hitting him in the shoulder or the back of if he was on the other side of the field from the ball carrier that's one thing but he made contact to his chest. If Wilson didn't see it coming that's his fault.
