We are light in the trou on the defensive line, and without BJ Raji, there's not much anyone can do about that. I think it evidences itself when good running teams shove it down our throat. I do believe we are a significantly different team than the one we trotted out that Thursday to open the season. Peppers has really made an impact as the season went on. A.J. Hawk can hit the trail. Our offense should help our defense to a far larger degree this game, primarily due to what Wade and I have been clamoring (almost ranting about on a continuing basis) for-for years now- a legitimately good offensive line.
I'll take my chances with Aaron Rodgers at 70% and an Eddie Lacy with a good line, vs. the one we had in week one. I like our chances far more than the national pundits are giving us credit (or lack thereof) for. They think we are the same team that played that opening game. More so than any team standing, we are not, in a GOOD way, notwithstanding Aaron's injury.
