Que the Price is Right losing horn, or Debbie Downer. We had this thread going in a fun direction, then...wah wah wah.

His girlfriend said they don't do the deed on Sundays and that's why he had his worst passer rating ever? Did you try saying that out loud before you typed that?

The guy plays his worst football game of his career a couple of days after this story comes out and you see absolutely no way it's linked? Okay.

He was way off all game. He was barely pressured in the game so it wasn't like Buffalo's D was harassing him into bad throws. He was simply making poor throws for most of the game. Why? Those who want to say it was Buffalo's D baffle me. What did the Bills do that was so special on D? What? Little pressure... their secondary is not filled with Revis and Sherman. So, why was he so off yesterday?

yooper...if you consider "olly" to be "flat" and low by UP standards...then DAMN, I need to find work up in Houghton or Ironwood!

Ufda, I don't dispute that Aaron is hypersensitive about his public image. I don't dispute that like every other team in every other game of every other sport the Bills may have been trash talking a little, but let me get this straight...

1st and 10, gotta drive 95 yards in 2 minutes....Mario Williams says pre-snap "Hey Aaron, I'm sorry to hear you're not getting any tail today" then it's all over...game deciding fumble! That's all that's on his mind, not thinking about pre-snap adjustments, who the Mike is, if he needs to audible to the run because the safety is playing soft, if he needs to switch to his second read, if he can slide up in the pocket...nope...none of that is going through his head, just "crap, Olivia said we don't bump uglies on Sunday."

...so that's how it all went down???

Aaron Rodgers is a very sensitive human being that needs to be focused and prepared to play as he does each week. He played his worst game in his career. There is a reason for it. What is it? The great Buffalo D is not the right answer as they didn't pressure him, we were able to run the ball... so unlike Detroit and Seattle where we couldn't run it at all.

I can't conclude that the Munn story didn't affect him when he played as poorly as he did. There was something off about him yesterday...why was he off? It was not the Buffalo D. The Buffalo D didn't make him throw some of those terrible passes he threw.

I don't know what it was...maybe complacency, maybe a trap game, maybe the pressure of maintaining MVP performances, maybe he just had a bad game in a game of inches.

How mentally tough do you think he is? Do you know that also? A guy so bothered by little comments like you look taller on TV is really that mentally tough to begin with? Let's see how he responds. He gets to play one of the worst teams in the NFL next Sunday.

I truly hope he gets another shot at Seattle...then we shall really see how tough he is.

beast (20m) : If they aren't doing it, then why are you assuming they know how to do it?
dfosterf (5h) : Mackelvie
dfosterf (5h) : Michael Macelvie- NFL teams know how to draft- Why don"t they?
dfosterf (5h) : Youtube
Zero2Cool (10h) : Packers were not selected for the 2025 Hall of Fame game.
dfosterf (13h) : PFOW Out of our division would be a good thing imo
Zero2Cool (14h) : Jameson Williams is done at 24 years old? What? He's a WR, not QB. I'm missing something here haha
wpr (15h) : Tomorrow is almost here.
packerfanoutwest (15h) : would you want him if Pack needed a back up qb?
packerfanoutwest (15h) : JW is done......stick a fork in him
Zero2Cool (17h) : You should. He goes to AFC that helps Packers.
packerfanoutwest (23-Apr) : don't care
Zero2Cool (22-Apr) : Lions shopping Jameson Williams?
packerfanoutwest (22-Apr) : Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst says Green Bay’s roster can win, even without adding anyone in the draft.
Zero2Cool (22-Apr) : It's a poor design. New site has SignalR like our gameday chat
wpr (22-Apr) : Ah today's Shout was very quick to post.
wpr (22-Apr) : now 3

dfosterf (21-Apr) : Justice Musqueda over at Acme Packing put up an excellent synopsis of the Packers 1st round options this am
wpr (19-Apr) : 5 days
beast (18-Apr) : 6 days
wpr (17-Apr) : 7 days
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
