Right...I don't know. You seem to know for sure it wasn't that. I don't know that.

How mentally tough do you think he is? Do you know that also? A guy so bothered by little comments like you look taller on TV is really that mentally tough to begin with? Let's see how he responds. He gets to play one of the worst teams in the NFL next Sunday.

I truly hope he gets another shot at Seattle...then we shall really see how tough he is.

Also how are you so sure he gets bothered by comments about his height on tv?

I'd say hes pretty mentally tough, he's won the MVP before, which is a season of pressure and playing at an exceptionally high standard, in fact the best. Also hes won the last game of the season with everything on the line which you wouldn't be able to do if he wasn't mentally tough, which he was also the best in the game for that game. If that doesn't scream mental toughness for you then what does?

Neither you nor I KNOW what it was, but I think it's very reasonable to assume it wasn't solely because his girlfriend said no sex on Sundays. If that's what puts him over the edge at this point in his career, suddenly RG3 is looking mentally tough.

I seriously doubt that players are willing to spring for airfare for their significant others when they are going to be out of town for just a couple of days. Other than Starks Buffalo is not a high priority destination for most of the women so who won't find them badgering the players to take them along.

But if they do or if they don't- it just doesn't matter.

You guys are way too quick to credit him for being mentally tough. A person can have areas of weaknesses, kryptonites, if you will...just because he's good at football doesn't mean he's good at controlling his emotions when it comes to some girl telling the world about his sex habits. Here's another little excerpt on the Rodgers 60 minutes piece: (usatoday.com)

The piece heavily touched upon Rodgers' perceived sensitivity, with teammates Greg Jennings and Clay Matthews joking about it during an interview. One of the elements of the piece that the profile touched on and heavily teased during the promos for it during Sunday's games was Rodgers' height, showing an event where local contest winners got to meet the quarterback. One winner, upon meeting Rodgers, tells him that he "looks a little bit smaller than I thought you'd be", and the camera shows the 6'2" Rodgers saying "I don't appreciate that."

You have to look at this guy's character...he loses bets...doesn't pay them. IE: Lost bet with Boyz II Men about wearing a Niners jersey if Niners beat them in the playoffs... Niners win...he welches so TMZ hammers him for it.

Here is what she said...it has nothing to do with the above post: (foxsports.com)

“No, we don’t,” she said. “Not on game day. There’s not a rule, but it just doesn’t happen because there are other things to focus on.”

However, Munn said they occasionally have sex after Packers games.

“It depends on how late the game is … I try to have sex as much as I can.”

Maybe he hates pickles and some dolt put pickles on his sandwich on the in flight meal. Maybe he forgot his lucky rabbits foot back in GB. Maybe the batteries in his ipod died and he couldn't listen to his favorite song. It could be all of these unreported things as well.

With that's said, any of these hypotheticals are ridiculously unlikely. As others noted, with the season on the line, 4th down, pepper sprinting after him and he hits cobb...but it's plausible to assume comments about his height or bedroom habits are what dictate his play?!?

Any possibility that when this story got out it affected his relationship with his girlfriend? Any? Any possibility they had a fight over her making those comments publicly when he can't even handle someone saying he doesn't look as tall as he does on TV? The 60 minutes piece focused on his sensitivity issues because he is...sensitive. That is an issue with this guy. So, if he did react negatively to this getting out, and there is no logical basis for concluding he reacted anything but negative, then he likely spent some time addressing it with Olivia. If he was upset by it and spent time on it this past week then that took time away from his focus and preparation for football on Sunday...to say it didn't or couldn't have would be naive at best.

BTW, the sex piece appeared in the Gazette. I'm sure Rodgers loved his teammates and his local fans getting to read about him and Olivia whom he wishes nobody would even know about in the first place.
