You know you could always get some tape to cover that up and put Holland, Arthur or Williams on the back of it. Or save it for a future player. [grin1]

Hawk has to be given 100% for effort but it has been apparent for a while now that he is no longer a starting caliber player.

Hawk never lived up to being the playmaker/game changer it was hoped he would be.
He has been a solid player but I agree, it seems like he hit the wall.
I remember when he was drafted and a lot of the draft analysts were saying he was the safest defensive pick and would be a star.
Good player but never a star.
I am chosen by many but taken by no one.

Again, instead of listening to all the online football experts, I'll just go with the coach's comments.

“I certainly wouldn’t overreact,” Capers said. “You think about a guy like A.J., you think back to 2010, he didn’t play one snap in that Eagles game, but then down the stretch in the playoffs and to the super bowl, he was our guy. So A.J.’s solid, consistent, and he’s got a significant role for us.

😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

Hell, why is everyone so up in arms about this?

Most of you are getting what you want.

Hawk is on the sidelines.

You all can't even be happy when the coaches decide to change things up the way most of you have wanted for years!!!!!

There was a game a season or two or maybe three ago where A.J. Hawk's role was diminished some and Dom Capers said it's not something to expect every week. I think it was 2012 against the Saints.

I'm sure offensive coordinators around the league continue to game plan around AJ's abilities. That usually ends up a big gainer right over the middle to the tight end or running back. The only thing worse that I've seen in Green Bay's defense over the last five years was the exploitation of Eric Walden at OLB.

But Hawk's dependable! LOL

I won't be happy until he's released and NOT in the Packers Hall of Fame. [grin1]
