Teams getting away from printed tickets

Apparently the 49ers are done printing tickets starting 2015 and other teams are taking interest as a measure to save money. If the NFL is trying to get more butts in the seats, they need to stop charging so much at the concessions.

I've attended three full games and kept each of the tickets.

September 17, 2000 vs Philadelphia Eagles
January 12, 2008 vs Seattle Seahawks
January 5, 2014 vs San Francisco 49ers

Removing a souvenir is not the right move. Forcing a lower price for concessions most certainly is. And also offering free WiFi wouldn't hurt.

I don't know what NFL Inc has to do to increase attendance. Percent wise they are probable the best league of the Big Four sports.

14 teams are at 100% or more for attendance.
Another 12 are above 90%
The "weak sisters" of the league are between 84-88.8%

Apparently the NFL or ESPN can't figure out the attendance for SF in the new state of the art digs. 🙄

As we all know tickets sold doesn't mean bodies in the seats.

I have been printing my own tickets for baseball games for a couple of years. 3-4 years ago they would want to charge a fee for me to print them so I had them mail me the tickets. Apparently they figured out it was cheaper to let the consumer print them than to mail them. NFL tickets bought through StubHub or other sources have you print them. I expected the NFL to follow suit for season ticket holders too.
