It's refreshing to see somebody improve his already high level of performance AFTER getting a big contract. I used to think he was a slightly above average receiver who had the good fortune of playing with Aaron Rodgers. This year, however, he has sold me on the idea that he is a super player - one of the top 4 or 5 WRs in the NFL.

I agree. I figured it was a somewhat decent contract, because they finally kept a part of his receiving group in place, but I wasn't expecting much more than a decent season, thinking he peaked in his contract year.
He's been absolutely amazing, though.
If anything, he's benefiting from having fewer legitimate weapons around him. Cobb and Adams have looked good enough so far, but more in the mold of a true second and third receiver, rather than the three first receivers we used to have.
I can't imagine he'll keep this up, but he's on his way to a 115 catch, 1700 yard, 13 TD season.
