If they really like Harper that could be a good way to save him till mid-season without costing a roster spot and still keep 5-6 other WRs. I think I'd rather just see him compete though and if we end up having to cut 2 of him, Dorsey, or Janis so be it.

What is it with Quarless anyway? I haven't heard what his injury is. It would not be good for him to start out PUP with all the TE's nipping at taking over his starting spot. If he does start out PUP I would almost have to scratch him off as the starter when the season starts. It leaves the door open for Bostic or Rogers to get reps right out of the gate.

I agree with you Nerdmann. The PUP guys can be activated any time prior to the start of the season, so now is a hugely valuable time for the new guys to get reps and gain experience.
