If you had to give out these awards to the 2013 Packers players (one on offense and one on defense) who would you give them to?

Usually they like to spread out awards and try not to give one guy more than award, but you can if you want too and some guys might deserve more than one. If you choose you can explain why you picked the player or just name them.

Some of the awards can be... (remember offense and defense)
If you think you got another good award don't be afraid to add it to your list.

MVP: (Most Valuable Player)
MIP: (Most Improved Player)
Break: (Break out year) (I think breakout and most improved can be two different things or same thing depending on context)
MVL: (Most Valuable Lineman) (because linemen need some love too, and normally don't get as many awards)
MIL: (Most Improved Lineman)
Rook: (Best Rookie or first year player)
Under: (Most Under Rated)
Con: (Most good consistent player that gets over looked)
Heart: (Heart of the team)

Here is a list you can copy and paste to fill in...

Usually Rodgers and Matthews are locks for MVPs, but because their injuries I'm going else where.

MVP-O: Nelson: 1300+ yards with out Rodgers for basically half the season
MVP-D: Williams: 2nd "Total" tackles, 2nd in INTs, 2nd in Forced Fumbles and got a few sacks as well...

MIP-O: Boykins: He went from less than 30 yards to over 650
MIP-D: Williams: He looked like the pre-shoulder injury Williams at times which I thought I might never see again.

Break-O: Lacy: Because a physical force for the offense and I'm sure people could make a strong case for MVP too
Break-D: Daniels: I think the two gap system held him back some but he still broke out and I think in a one gap system he might be able to break out more

MVL-O: Sitton: He's a great OG
MVL-D: Daniels: He was a force at times

MIL-O: Barclay/Lang: Barclay stepped up his game and battle tough as starting RT (though I think he'd be better at OG still) while Lang got banged up last year and played worse, but stayed more healthy this year and played better because of it.
MIL-D: Boyd: Might be a rookie but I think he improved the most from the start of the year until the end.

Rook-O: Lacy: Lacy deserves another one, though Bakhtiari deserves to be talked about as well.
Rook-D: Hyde: Might of been the 3rd best DB for the Packers

Under-O: J. Jones / Starks: I think both are underrated. Nether might be special but I think both can be very good.
Under-D: Hyde: Slot CB, dime CB, punt and kick returner, physical hard hitter, almost seemed like a speedy coverage LB at times in run plays... the guy might not be the fastest but he can play.

Con-O: Barclay: He looks and play like an OG, yet he did decent at OT despite having less talent, though he did need help at times.
Con-D: Jolly: So consistent he came back from years of not playing and jumped right back it... and played inspired football and might of even been the best DL from base defense this year.

Heart-O: Lang: See below
Heart-D: Jolly: Both seem to really poor their heart into their play and if something goes down on the field they seem like the first guys willing to put their nose in it for their teammate and get in the other guys face. Hopefully Daniels will be the replacement for Jolly there.

buckeyepackfan (7h) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.

packerfanoutwest (12h) : Browns, Dolphins have longest AFC Championship droughts
packerfanoutwest (12h) : As of today, Cowboys have longest NFC Championship drought,
beast (22h) : Someone pointed out, with Raiders hiring Carroll, the division games between Carroll and Jim Harbaugh are back on (who can whine more games)
beast (26-Jan) : I'm confused, Pete Carroll and Brian Schottenheimer? When Todd Monken, Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, Kliff Kingsbury and Zac Robinson are availab

Mucky Tundra (24-Jan) : Rude!
beast (24-Jan) : Martha? 😋
Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
