You guys are going to hate me for this and probably ask how I am a Packers fan....I have never been to Lambeau Field. Spent 4 years at a private college and I have so much loan debt I can't afford to ever go to a game, nor could I in the past. Bet it is real great.

Haven't been there either. But hey, I asume it won't go anywhere anytime soon. Just have to have some patience and visit it when I get enough money and get rit of this fear of flights/boats 😛

I offered to take a friend of mine who is a Bear's fan "Mecca" for the Packer-Bears game. He just couldn't work things out this year. I told him that he has to see a game in GB once in his lifetime.

Over the past three seasons.. I have given away 5 sets of tickets that were passed to me from Vendors.. normally to people that need a break from the "real" world.. the stories they tell when they come back from the games is worth more than attending the game myself. None of them had ever been to a game.. and everyone of them say there is nothing like it.

One spry gent thought he had a pace maker installed jokingly.. he said that the atmosphere, excitement and intensity of the crowd could jump start a heart if need be.

Odd thing though this year.. I haven't gotten a single ticket.. dang gum economy anyway. 😉

that's GREAT 93! i'm a firm believer that EVERY packer fan HAS to go to at least one game at lambeau field - period!! there is truly nothing like walking thru the "tunnel", seeing the sunshine ahead of you, your heart pounding so hard, your face finally hit by the sunlight, & looking onto the field - truly an amazing experience!!

No big deal AK. I bet half of the people on this board have wither not gone or been to 1 game.
Hard ticket to get unless you go thru the ticket brokers and pay big bucks.
I bought a few tickets off a neighbor when I was in college that he did not want to use. Went to a couple of games at old County Stadium in Milwaukee. (Loved to walk in from one of the neighborhoods along the railroad tracks. Went past the retirement home on the way.)
But I didn't get season tickets until a few years ago because of the remodeling project.
I had been a fan for about 35-40 yrs by then so you still have time to pay off your loans.

I love giving away my tickets.
Sent my son and both of his grandfathers to games. (different games)
Sent my brother and his sons.
Have a good friend who moved from WI to IL and gave them the tickets.
Took my uncle who is a long time Packer fan after he had a kidney transplant.
I definitely get a kick out of watching others look around the stadium.
My favorite part are the flyovers at the end of the National Anthem. :signcool:

There is something about seeing a person react to the first glimpse of the field.. til the day I croak.. I will remember my son's first trip or a 75 year old I took to his very first professional game.. he was in awe..

Albeit I got to see none of the reactions first hand.. I hear the stories the next time we met. Priceless.

Love the thread title. +1

wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
