Brett Favre the best ever? [duh] There's no way in the world the "best ever" throws that many stupid interceptions in his career. Guy most fun to watch...maybe...but no way in the world is he the best ever or even the best ever in Green Bay. I would take Aaron Rodgers 10 times out of 10 over Brett Favre even if Aaron's career was already over today.

And 7>5. Do you rate Otto Graham above all quarterbacks ever?

Gosh, did I ignite this "RING" firestorm? And just by commenting that Aaron Rodgers is the greatest QB in this history of the world? Actually, I didn't even word it right; I shoulda said Rodgers WILL BE the greatest QB in history by the time he his done. Right now, that honor goes to BRETT FAVRE!

Jump Ball hahahaha.

I say again, Bart Starr was the hero of the team I loved growing up. However, who you have playing with you and coaching makes a huge difference in winning championships. It also makes a difference who is playing against you, including how many teams are even in the league.

Favre isn't even the 3rd best Packer QB.

So Graham v. Starr is a toughie.

Graham v. Rodgers? That's easy.

Graham.

Right... he just skipped straight over the padding and right to the detriment part.

I've honestly never heard anyone claim Otto Graham as the greatest quarterback ever. He hardly ever gets mentioned in my experience, which is a shame because he deserves to be discussed as one of the greats. I just wouldn't rate him number 1.

I'm aware it will probably never go away, but it's not going to stop me from dispising it as an argument. It's, at best, intellectually dishonest, which is I suppose the point you're making about whatever works to your advantage.

I don't like it as an argument either. It totally disregards the other players on the team not to mention coaching and all the other intangibles. You can take the best QB ever (we will find out who that is in the other thread) and put him on some of those Packers teams of the 70's and 80's and they still were not winning division much less the Super Bowl and guys like Dilfer prove it takes a village.

beast (21-Dec) : So far the college playoffs have sucked... One team absolutely dominates the other
beast (21-Dec) : Well even if you weren't positive towards a guy, you wouldn't nessarily want to tell the media that (if they don't know about it)
Martha Careful (21-Dec) : I think MLF want Love to look past the end half issues, and feel good about his play. Our coaches generally keep a very positive tone.
beast (21-Dec) : I think a great running game will do that for most QBs
packerfanoutwest (21-Dec) : Coach Matt LaFleur has said quarterback Jordan Love is playing the best football of his career.
beast (21-Dec) : Oh, that's how you keep beating buckeye, with cheating
Zero2Cool (20-Dec) : There is a rule that if your name starts with 'b' you lose 15 points. Hey, I don't make the rules, I just enforce them!

Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Or if KC needs to win for the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Right now it looks like the only prime worthy games are Det-Minny and KC-Denver (if Denver can clinch a wild card spot)
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : The entirety of week 18 being listed as flex is weird
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Matt LaFleur today says unequivocally "Ted Thompson had nothing to do with the drafting of Jordan Love."

Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : whiteout uniforms in general are pretty lame and weak. NFL greed at it's worst
Martha Careful (17-Dec) : The Viking uniforms, the whiteout uniforms specifically absolutely suck

beast (17-Dec) : Seems like someone has a crush on me, can't stop talking about me
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : Should be gooder now. The forum default theme went to goofy land.
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : What the hell
packerfanoutwest (17-Dec) : yeah beast hates the Winter Warning Unies
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Okay I'm glad to know it's not just something happening to me lol
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Zero, did you copy the Packers uniforms from last night and white out the board?
beast (16-Dec) : Oh crap, is the board going to the Winter Warning Uniforms too?!? It's all white on white right now!
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : WR Odell Beckham Jr is officially a free agent after clearing waivers.
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : Packers are 6th in sacks.
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : RB David Montgomery will undergo season-ending knee surgery.
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Dan Campbell on onside kick with 12 minutes left: In hindsight, wish I didn’t do that
