Tight end Colt Lyerla is on the field and practicing with the Packers, ending a period away from the field that began when he was kicked off the Oregon football team last year.Lyerla’s departure from the team, subsequent arrest on drug charges and assorted other issues from his college days led to Lyerla going undrafted despite the kind of talent that is usually off the board in the first two days. The Packers decided to bring Lyerla on board in hopes that he’s able to find the right track and the tight end says he thinks that can happen.
