I am not sure why anyone thinks Tampa Bay or Atlanta are going to be any good this year. Both will be better than last year but...

TB lost 3/5 of its O-Line and half its running game. They are still unsettled at QB and while the defense is certainly better, I am not afraid of a Tampa-2 defense, modified though it may be.

Atlanta still has no running game, no pass rush and a questionable secondary. Now they've lost one of their tackles from an already weak O-Line. They have a good QB and great receivers but no TE. We pantsed them when they were the best team in the NFC, and they aren't close to that now.

Miami looks a lot better than last year already...I think they are more of a worry.

I'm not saying we have chopped liver at receiver, but we don't have elite receivers and haven't for a very long time.

I think 12-4 or 11-5 are reasonable predictions. Cannot decide between the two. Just excited to watch the games... not the refs though... really worried about the amount of flags we will see this season.

Yeah, what he said.

Undoubtedly the Packers will slip up and lose a game or two even if they stay healthy, but I honestly would not/could not predict against them in ANY individual game, and that includes at Seattle in Week One.

This team has the talent to beat anyone legitimately. They don't need refs calls or lucky bounces or implosions by the other team.

I had The Packers at 12 - 4.

Still right on track.

Win home games 8 -0 (currently 3 - 0)
Will be favorites in all
Bears, Eagles, Patriots, Falcons, Lions

Split road games 4-4 (currently 2-3)

@ Vikings, Bills, Buccaneers (Packers will be favored in all 3.}

Packers are on track for 12 - 4 season.

NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO PANIC!!!!
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

I know the season is half over, but I think 10-6 is realistic right now.
Our defense has been so up and down, I don't know what to expect from them the rest of the way.
Maybe Ted will trade for some defensive help before the deadline tomorrow.
(Yeah.....like that will happen!😆 )

Mucky Tundra (12h) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (13h) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (13h) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (13h) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (16h) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.

dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.

beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
