Oh, our economies are as good as tied, so I'm fine with that.

It's a rivalry that goes way beyong... well... anything I know.

Voetbal, Fußball, all the same. Stop bullying me. 😢

Just for the guys who are not familiar with the german language, the article lists good players who will miss the world cup with the injuries they suffered in brackets. The list reads as follows:

Luis Montes (broken tibia and broken fibula)
Thiago (torn MCL)
Theo Walcott (torn ACL)
Rafael van der Vaart (calf injury)
Kevin Strootman (Netherlands)

And to be honest, I have never heard of this "Panzerlied" until you mentioned it. And I'm glad I didn't. Terrible stuff, f*** terrible.

Most people have not heard the Panzerlied unless someone watches the movie The Battle of the Bulge.

getting back on topic. My Final Four

Germany, Spain, Brazil (I wonder about them. All the pressure of being host could be too much.) Argentina.

Final Four I wish I could see
US, Cameroon, Australia, South Korea

Actually US, Brazil, Swiss and Argentina

If they win, they will face presumably South Korea or Russia in the round of 16 and then in the quarter final either France (without their best player Ribery), Suisse, Bosnia or maybe Nigeria. That looks like one of the easiest ways to get to the semi finals.

If they finish 2nd, they'll be out maybe in the round of 16, but for sure in the quarter finals. Belgium, who I bet will win group H, has a very young and highly talented team. Watch out for them in 2018. If Germany survives Belgium, they will get demoralized by Argentina in the quarter finals.

The most important thing for me is to get rid of our shitty, shitty coach. So there are only 2 positive scenarios. Either we're out in the group stage and Jogi Löw gets kicked or we win it all and he leaves by his own 😃 Unfortunately both scenarios will not happen. We will somehow win group G because Ronaldo is out for Portugal, then get the "easy line" to the semi finals and then get our butts kicked badly from whoever we face, because Jogi Löw again has one of his "brilliant" ideas. Like in the European Cup 2012, when he played Toni Kroos as a man-to-man defender against Andrea Pirlo in the Italy game. WTF???? That's insane. That day I saw the team lineup and knew from the very first moment, that this was the last game of the EC for Germany. 🤦 🤦

So I agree with your final 4 and Brazil will have tons of fun destroying Germany.

My final 4 wish list includes Germany (as said, only if they win it all), Chile, USA and Australia. Not too likely, I know [grin1]

I was tempted to put Belgium in the finals but I really don't know very much about them and I didn't want three from Europa in the finals on my list. I think the elite of the rest of the world is right there with Europe or at least they can be.

Argentina is in great shape. Win the group and then get France or Honduras in the 2nd Stage. Advance and probably get Belgium. Good match but you say they are young maybe that will be their weakness.

dfosterf (6h) : *Elgersma*
dfosterf (6h) : Today would be a good day to discover the Pack signed Taylor Engersma, the Canadian QB
Zero2Cool (11-May) : It wasn't. He simply wanted his money back. They refused. Cops came. They gave him his money in end.

Zero2Cool (8-May) : New Pope: 2 days | Shedeur Sanders: 3 days
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Collin Whitchurch @cowhitchurch · 1h Chicago got a pope before it got a QB to throw for 4,000 yards in a season.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : New Pope from Chicago; in other words, the city produced a Pope before a 4000 yard passer

Zero2Cool (7-May) : You saw me Tweet???

Zero2Cool (5-May) : Ravens release Justin Tucker, err D. Watson Jr?
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Cardinals have signed TE Josiah Deguara.

Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Packers did not activate the fifth-year options for linebacker Quay Walker, with the goal of signing him to a contract extension.
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Matthew Golden spoke with Randall Cobb before draft. Looked like chance encounter.
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : from a head left turn?
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : someone drunk?
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Unlikely.
dfosterf (30-Apr) : How long until Jeff Sperbeck's family sues John Elway ?
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : Packers are exercising the fifth-year option on DT Devonte Wyatt, locking in a guaranteed $12.9M for the 2026 season.
beast (30-Apr) : Sounds like P Luke Elzinga has a rookie try out opportunity from the Titans
