I think it goes both ways. Of course a good reciever is going to bring out the best of a quarterback. And the more good recievers the better the QB is going to look. Look at Peyton Manning. Now he has a lot of talent by himself, but he also has great recievers, makes him even better. I dont know so much that it makes the quarterback look better, I think it makes them better...

We have talented receivers that is for sure but the guys flinging the football for the past two years definitely had just as much to do with it.

The pass to Jennings in this game for the TD reminded me of the Favre to Jennings pass vs. KC last year, except into a smaller window (tighter coverage), 5 yards longer, and with a hurt shoulder.

So I'll tweak Roddy's statement a bit and say Rodgers' playing makes him look better than he really is. ;)

I've discussed that before. I don't know whether you actually crunched numbers and watched game film to make that statement, or you're going by memory, but I recall off the top of my head a number of situations where Favre did not "hit his man on the run" on a deep pass, during last year alone.
