Your score is: 4372 (Drafting Ability: B-, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 31 (DEN): C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 21: Deone Bucannon, SS, Washington State (B+)
Round 2 Pick 31 (DEN): Travis Swanson, C, Arkansas (B-)
Round 3 Pick 21: C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa (B+)
Round 3 Pick 34 (COMP): Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas (A)
Round 4 Pick 21: Bruce Ellington, WR, South Carolina (A)
Round 4 Pick 31 (DEN): Antone Exum, CB, Virginia Tech (B+)
Round 5 Pick 21: Kevin Pierre-Louis, OLB, Boston College (B)
Round 5 Pick 36 (COMP): Brett Smith, QB, Wyoming (A)
Round 6 Pick 21: Dri Archer, WR, Kent State (B+)
Round 7 Pick 21: Eathyn Manumaleuna, DT, Brigham Young (B-)

I had a better one going but somehow lost it. I like Swanson. Big, tough kid that plays a little dirty. Just the guy I want directly in front of Arod.
I grabbed Archer to see if he can stick as our return guy.

It's kind of addicting but there are way too many trade scenarios for it to be very realisitic lol. You could come out of that thing easily with 15+ draft picks if you wanted.

why the balls would we draft an rb with our first pick

Ease up, it's all in fun.

When it came time for me to pick at 21 I opted to trade down to 30th and added an extra 3rd rnd pick.

When pick 30 came along, The Redskins offered me their 2,3 and 4th rnd picks for that pick.

Is this very realistic? maybe not, but how could anyone not pass up the chance to accumulate 2nd and 3rd rnd picks in a draft that is said to be deep with talent?

Taking Hyde at that point would just solidify an already top notch running game.

Most RB's shelf life is not very long, and why not have depth for a change at the position.

We laugh about this, but I just wonder how many deals could be made if a GM really wanted to make a move every time another team called and offered a trade.

I'm betting the phones are numerous in the war rooms and they never quit ringing.

With all the supposed depth in this years draft Ted just might turn his 9(2 comp picks he can't trade included) picks into 12 or 13, if the right scenario's come about.

What's that line Scrooge has in "Christmas Carol"? Are these the images of things that WILL be? Or things that could/should be? I say NONE OF THE ABOVE - except for what P2W said.

I thoroughly disagree with all of those attempts at itemizing the picks in a trade down scenario. And while I wouldn't rule out Ted doing it, I absolutely hope he does NOT trade down, and instead trades up.

It is the ultimate speculation to start naming names beyond the first or maybe second round. Even there, however, there are way too many variables regarding other teams needs and trades between other teams. Position-wise, though, the simple fact is, there are certain things Ted just has to come out of this draft with. Top of that list is a starter quality Safety. A close second is a starter quality ILB. If it takes trading up to get those, I HOPE he does it; If it takes grabbing two of the same position in high rounds to have one pan out, I hope he does that. The plain fact is, there are a LOT of positions that we really don't need help - RB, QB, Corner, of course, but I would include O-Line, D-Line, WR, TE, OLB in that also - if we got nothing or no more than tail-enders, the team would be fine.

So I will go with a prediction of: no trade up or down and two each Safetys and ILBs with those four top 98 picks we have. After that, BPA all the way - other than RB or QB.

Round 3 Pick 21: Travis Swanson, C, Arkansas (A-)

The website is not perfect and does go overboard on the trades. I just posted it all for fun fellas. A little something to brighten up the off-season drag...

I did a run through a few times and there were a few where I stopped getting trade offers after the 2nd round and a few where I was offered ridiculous trades every round. I just fought the urge of trading all the time to make it more realistic. None of know what happens in the war rooms anyways...

...I'm waiting to see someone's draft with a trade-up. texaspackerbacker is doing the talking about it, but not the walking.

Have some fun with it.
