Since I was wondering this myself after posting I figured someone else may be wondering. The Packers now have:
#21, #53, #85, #98, #117, #149, #176, #181, #213

Which Means he will trade down from #21 for a 2nd and a 3rd(hello Washington)

He will take that 3rd he traded bundle it with #85 and trade up into the 2nd rnd.

That would give him 3 -rnd 2 draft picks,( #53 and 2 traded for), #98, #117, #149, #176, #181, #213.

Then Ted will bundle #117 and #181 to move up into the 3rd rnd.

3-2nd rnd picks,(#53 and 2 traded for), a 3rd rnd pic(traded for), #98, #149, #176, and #213.

5 picks in the top 100, + 3 late rnd picks,

Hey it could happen.

Redskins(1st rnd pick needed), Browns and Steelers(both need players), are all trade possibilities, even The Patriots like to trade down and collect picks.

Will trader ted make an appearance this year?

I was thinking the same thing. Out here in the Philly area, rumors are the Eagles are only able to get about a 4th for DeSean Jackson, but we can get a 5th for Walden?!? Jones and EDS should at least get us a 4th next year, then!

Compensatory free agents are determined by a formula based on salary, playing time and postseason honors. The formula was developed by the NFL Management Council. Not every free agent lost or signed by a team is covered by this formula.

Although the exact formula for awarding additional picks isn't known, not even to the teams themselves, it is based on the net losses in free agency from the previous offseason with contracts, playing time and productivity factored in.

Anyone who who says they know is just making a guess. It might be an educated guess but they do not know the exact formula.

I wonder if Ted knows that for some players the compensatory pick would be better than what he could get for him in a trade.
