California school sued for violating student's 1st Amendment rights

This is unrelated to yesterday's thread.

School officials at a California public school tried to prevent this kid from handing out copies of the Constitution. He sued, and won 50k. Which is great, but he shouldn't have had to sue in the first place. And that 50k is tax payer money.

Also, why do liberals hate the Constitution so much? Why are they constantly trying to stomp on the first amendment? I guess it doesn't really matter why. But they can fuck right the hell off.
