Green Bay Packers safeties coach Darren Perry wasn’t overly positive when discussing the play of his unit during the 2013 season.

We need a smart player back there making plays and yelling instructions to the DBs.
Our current safeties just fill spots or run to the line to push, that's really not enough.

I strongly believe Burnett is worst than what most people think about him.

It would be a hard problem to fix because the draft for 2014 is not full of great safeties and we need 2 or even 3 new faces.

I doubt Burnett's brain is the source of any communications problems. Get another quality Safety in either the draft or free agency (Byrd, for example), and Burnett will be fine.
