Nineteen months later, when the draft class of 2012 should be making plays, the opposite has occurred for the Green Bay Packers.

Where is he getting that Perry was "passed" by Mike Neal? Perry was probably having as big of an impact as anyone on defense when he got hurt and adding that he's "contributed little since" is stupid considering he's only played half a game since - no shit. It's like some of these guy just come up with a story line then change the facts around a bit to fit it. Saying Hayward has contributed almost nothing since he was drafted when he was almost rookie of the year last year and4th in the league in interceptions is pretty dumb too.

lol couldn't read it, because I've already "passed my limit."

I could just open it in another brower, but if they're gonna be that way, fuck em.

I haven't seen many players contribute when on crutches or sitting on the sidelines hurt. The angle should really be about how many players have not been able to contribute.

If you look at the salaries of the starting lineup the Packers are currently putting on the field I have little doubt it is the lowest or very close to the lowest total $ paid in the league.

Think about that. The players they pay the most to win football games are sitting this one out.

No Rodgers, Finley, Cobb, Bulaga, Perry, Worthy, Sherrod, Hayward, and this week Shields. Mathews just got back and they have guys on both lines banged up. All that $ sitting on the sidelines.

If the starting lineup at the beginning of the year looked like it has the last few weeks I would have predicted 5-11. MAYBE. The thing is all these guys that have been out have shown they can play with maybe the exception of Sherrod who has never hardly been able to get started.

To coin a class as a failure when the players they talk about have shown they are not failures is just stupid.

I would agree with the story about not contributing but then again just like most other years Ted Thompson drafts guys that are injury prone or as soon as they get on the field they get injured. I think they need to do something with practices or even change strength coaches. I would also suggest hiring a yoga instructor for all the hamstring injuries.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I'm as negative about Ted Thompson as anybody, but how are you gonna predetermine who's injury prone? I don't think Sherrod or Worthy or Perry or the others farther back had much college history indicating that. Lacy could be argued as a risk, but he's been fine - knock on wood hahaha.

It's bad luck - even the outbreak of hamstrings, I have to think is luck. For some reason, there have been a bunch of those around the league, not just the Packers. On injuries in general, we are far from the only ones, and probably not hit as hard as a lot of other teams.

We didn't lose these last two (or three) games due to injuries.

We lost these games, because or OC and DC have their heads up their asses.

No, just an observation here.

Let's start with beginning of the season.
Bryan Bulaga at left tackle- OUT for season, torn ACL. Enter 4th round rookie, Bahktairi.

Week 1:
Morgan Burnett and Casey Hayward- OUT

Week 2:
Morgan Burnett and Casey Hayward- OUT
Eddie Lacy injured in game.

Week 3:
Eddie Lacy, John Kuhn, Morgan Burnett, Casey Hayward and Jarret Bush- OUT
Jermichael Finley and Randall Cobb injured in game.

Week 5:
Casey Hayward, Randall Cobb and James Starks- OUT

Week 6:
Casey Hayward, Brad Jones, Clay Matthews, Mike Neal, Randall Cobb and James Starks- OUT

Week 7:
Casey Hayward, Brad Jones, Clay Matthews, Mike Neal, Nick Perry, James Starks, Randall Cobb and James Jones- OUT
Jermichael Finley injured in game.

Week 8:
Jermichael Finley, James Jones, Randall Cobb, Clay Matthews, Nick Perry and Brad Jones- OUT

Week 9:
Clay Matthews, Nick Perry, Andy Mulumba, Jermichael Finley, Randall Cobb and James Jones- OUT
Aaron Rodgers and TJ Lang injured in game.

Week 10:
Aaron Rodgers, Jermichael Finley, Randall Cobb and Andy Mulumba- OUT
EDS, Don Barclay, Casey Hayward and Johnny Jolly injured in game.

Week 11:
Aaron Rodgers, Jermichael Finley, Randall Cobb, Don Barclay, Casey Hayward, Nick Perry and Sam Shields- OUT

That is a pretty ridiculous line of injuries right there and I think that would be hard to match. I added James Starks and Andy Mulumba because at the time of their injuries, they were receiving significant playing time because of either playing well or due to other injuries.

Zero2Cool (9h) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
