Always fun reading what expectations everyone has of whom among our draft class and UDFA's will make an impact this season or seasons to come.

As we drafted, I was so so disappointed we didn't get Dalvin Cook, and especially Tarik Cohen. Both of those guys just had to land in the NFCN. Cohen has Bears fans electrified. He was my favorite guy in the draft. Just so uniquely special. What a great role player he could've been for this team.

To the ones we did draft...

Aaron Jones is the one and only guy I'm truly excited about. I've gotten caught up in some Josh Jones hype but the other Jones is the guy I was most excited about at draft time. There is an "it" factor to certain players and sadly when I went to Lambeau to see the Eagles game I was hoping for two things...An Aaron Jones long TD run and a Michael Clark TD catch. Aaron was abysmal in that game...nowhere to go, but Clark caught the closing second TD from Taysom Hill.

I think before TC is all over Aaron Jones will be the guy at RB behind incumbent 88. This guy is a true dual threat and put up big numbers even against big time programs like Texas even though the Horns had one horrific D last season. The guy just has great balance and vision. Bounces to daylight and ends up with huge gains. Would love to see that again in our offensive arsenal. I saw a pic of 12 with his arm around him at practice one day. I think Aaron and Aaron are going to be quite the tandem somewhere around midseason or late in the year. Would like to see him unleashed right toward the end of the year ala Dorsey Levens. A very likable well spoken young man to boot.

Michael Clark is my favorite UDFA. That photo of him towering over Gunter is truly incredible. I think it's more awe inspiring than any pic of the eclipse I've seen.

Watching this kid's YouTube clip after he was signed got me all fired up. This is the kind of guy you wait on for 2-3 years to get it. The guys calling Marshall's games sure thought this guy was special. I've heard MM talk about how far he has to go but he can run and his hands are great and his height and arms are just so tantalizing...

Also, Lenzy Pipkins, #41 from Okla St. at CB really caught my eye during my trip to Lambeau. Can run and hit and seemed to have good sense as to what was happening on the field. As bad as we are at CB, I can see us sticking with the high picks and underperformers over this kid. Would be sad to stand pat after what we saw last year. Hoping he takes a step in the 4th preseason game when back end roster spots are really on the line.

Cody Heiman was a LB prospect who was also intriguing to me... but I've heard next to nothing about him although he looks ripped when you see him. Doubt he makes it but would like to see him on the PS.

You took most of mine, so here are a couple more:

Donatello Brown - He's always around the ball and has almost made a couple picks.

Adam Pankey - I know the competition goes down as the game goes on but he seems to give some confidence back to the line when replacing Spriggs.

Kalif Phillips - He just looks natural out there. It's a limited sample size, but what I've seen makes me want to see more.

And of course Taysom Hill has been ballin'!

I really wanted Marlon Mack in the draft but I like Williams style so I'm looking forward to see if he can do anything. My favorite picks were Biegel and Dupree. Out of the UDFAs I like Pipkins and Clark the most. From everything I've heard about Clark is he's impressive but lost half the time. I also like Taysom Hill more than Callahan

Had to post our guy Lenzy getting it done... you can see he has coverage skills in this one on one battle. Not exactly Terrelle Pryor, but... is Robert Davis...a guy who has been impressing in Skins camp. 6th rounder from Ga State who ran 4.42. Pipkins ran 4.46 and is step for step. We need a CB with great speed that can do exactly what Lenzy does below...Davis made a heckuva play to break up the INT.

Oh, and I love Taysom Hill and Callahan as 3rd stringers...fun guys to watch play. I thought Callahan was not very good but I saw him run around live and was impressed. McCaffrey is an impressive little WR. Cut RC18 and save 10 million and let Max man the slot. He's more of a try hard guy than a graceful swan like Cobb but the cost saving vs. performance gap can't be that huge.

I saw #34 Phillips the RB mentioned...he does look like he gets it. Nice instincts. No speed but just seems to waddle his way to yards not quite like LeVeon Bell but he's not getting his yards fast but he's getting them.

Donatello Brown has been getting some love here and on twitter. He was pretty good the night I saw him. I just hate feeling like we're going to trot out the same cast of characters that failed last year with House and King added.

Michael Clark, Taysom Hill. These RBs look good. Anyone heard anything from Jonathan Calvin?

beast (2h) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (2h) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (7h) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (7h) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8h) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8h) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8h) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8h) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (12h) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
dfosterf (12h) : Zero- Did you see what I posted about Voice of Reason and his wife? She posted over at fleaflicker that they are both "In"
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : Well, not crazy, it makes sense. Crazy I didn't notice/find it earlier
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : it's crazy how one stored procedure to get data bogged everything down for speed here
dfosterf (7-Aug) : to herd cats or goldfish without a bowl. They reminded me of the annual assembly of our fantasy league
dfosterf (7-Aug) : out on a field trip, outfitting them with little yellow smocks. Most of the little folk were well behaved, but several were like trying
dfosterf (7-Aug) : Yesterday my wife and I spent the afternoon on the waterfront here in Alexandria, Va. A daycare company took about 15 three/four year olds
wpr (7-Aug) : seems faster. yay
dfosterf (7-Aug) : Wife of reason posted on the in/out thread on fleaflicker that both she and vor are in
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : This page was generated in 0.135 seconds.
Mucky Tundra (7-Aug) : Tbh, I can never tell the difference in speed unless it's completely shitting the bed
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : Sure does feel like site is more snappy
Zero2Cool (6-Aug) : I thought that was the Lions OL
Mucky Tundra (6-Aug) : Travis Glover placed on IR; seasons over for him
Zero2Cool (6-Aug) : found bad sql in database, maybe site faster now?
dfosterf (5-Aug) : I'm going to call that a good move.
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Packers sign CB Corey Ballentine
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Hey i didn't know we could trade picks in fantasy
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : Update: Rock has tried a cheese curd, promises it's not his last
Zero2Cool (3-Aug) : watch it!! lol
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : you're right, we never did leave, the site just went down :P
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : Rock claims to have never eaten a cheese curd
Zero2Cool (3-Aug) : We did not leave.
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : Family Night! WE ARE SO BACK!
Mucky Tundra (2-Aug) : To this day, I'm still miffed about his 4 TD game against Dallas on Thanksgiving going to waste
Martha Careful (2-Aug) : Congratulations Sterling Sharpe. He was terrific and I loved watching him play.
beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
