Hi all,

Last night didn't hurt as much as it should, as it probably would if Aaron Rodgers hadn't gone down. As we all await the news on how bad the injury is, i'd like to state the obvious on a couple of things:-

I have been a (casual to say the least) board member since 2009, and in that time we have witnessed a heartbreaking loss to the Cardinals, a Superbowl victory, a sub-par performance against a hot Giants outfit and a drubbing at the 49ers. Injury wise, the 2010 season is similar to this (pending Rodgers' news), and though there may not be a direct correlation between 2010 & 2013, I would like you all to cast your mind back to the game vs. the Giants in 2010. It was the game where Rodgers came back after missing a close game against New England and absolutely dominated from the outset.

My guess is that regardless of the outcome of this injury, we will see our QB better than ever when we see him return to the field, as Rodgers thrives on defying naysayers and will likely have a chip on his....ok bad wording, but you get the jist.

Rodgers aside, the talent level in this team is actually STRONGER than it's been in the past four years, in my opinion. And whilst we may or may not function effectively without our starting Quarterback, I have no doubt that this is a group of players who will grow as this season progresses.

I think we have been spoiled in recent times, and a quick look at the league shows Rodgers to be one of the most durable players in his position.

So here's to hoping, that we can repeat the success of 2010 by overcoming supposedly difficult obstacles. Such as Seneca Wallace.

Well said VinceLambeauStarr! Well said.

I think it is best to just take a deep breath at this point, and hope for the Rodgers' healthy return.

By the time Rodgers gets back, will we still be in post season contention?

This team thrives with it's back to the wall. As long as we're not eliminated, we've got a chance.

No, but he was on the sideline for the game. Good sign. RT @TatianaMcArthur: Any word on how Matthews pin removal went yesterday?
