A success percentage is not proof. How many attempts and what was the distance? It rarely ever feels we run on 3rd and short. To say we do so I must have be watching a different game than any that believe this stat to be accurate.

You didn't say anything about running more on 3rd down you said "when we start converting on 3rd and Short runs consistently. "

You specified runs. As a team we are 3rd best in the league at converting 3rd downs. So however they do it they are good at converting 1st downs consistently. Lacy is 4/5 on 3rd and short and Rodgers is 8/12.

Marshawn Lynch is 2/7 on 3rd and short runs but yeah it's automatically useless. Maybe your false perceptions are what's useless.

Pretty well known that Aaron has the option to change the play at the line of scrimmage, and his decisions have been pretty damn good.

The big difference this year is that everyone has more confidence in the running game because of the improved play of the O-line and the emergence of Lacy and re-emergence of Starks.

The Packers come to the line and the defense is showing 7 or 8 in the box with single coverage on the outside, probably a better chance at hitting the pass then trying to run into a stuffed line of scrimmage.
