I don't see it happening. Hakeem Nicks wants a huge contract and I don't see the Packers parting with a pick to rent a player for half the season. And Kenny Britt is just not the player some think he is.

Even without Cobb, that will give the Packers Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Finley, Lacy, Franklin, Boykin, and a few other role players. All things considering, that's still not too bad. It's not an elite core, but many QBs have played with worse. The biggest factor then becomes continuing to establish the running game, as they have been doing. While a really good running game might not be able to make up for the loss of Cobb completely, it can come close. A good running game plus the remaining weapons will still make it hard for most other teams to beat the Packers, especially with the defense playing well.
Nicks would certainly look good in Green and Gold, and the Packers could very well resign him instead of him going elsewhere for the long term, but I think he's a little over rated, anyway. Ted Thompson could probably do better, and for much cheaper, through the draft.
