heck well im at it i can't stand the bears or vikings but i love the lions (because there management is worse then ours) . I don't hate Rodgers i just can't stand all the praise he got after the 1st 2 games and now he stunk it up for 3 games people are giving him a pass. I say let the kid play and then at the end of the year pass judgment. I for one knew our talent wasn't as great as people said. We played weak teams last year which made both our offense and defensive stats look great. These people need to get off the o-line after all they are the same o-line that got us to the championship game last year. (anyone ever think some of the players just don't have faith in management after what they did in the off season)

Don't worry Zero i don't hate you 😛
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

The problem I have with Rodger's lovers, they blame the D. They saved us from embarrassment in week 1, kept Dallas in check to have a chance, and gave us a chance to win vs Tampa with 4 turnovers. Yesterday they held them to 2 FG's when Atlanta started in their own territory, forced 2 punts, and made an amazing INT to save a TD. Yet I found myself in the 4th quarter thinking, how do we expect to win with only 17 points. Again, Rodgers stat line looks amazing but he is not getting it done, he's not winning the game. He got rattled to the max in Tampa, holds the ball way too long, and shows signs of panicking in situations when it counts, ie. yesterday's INT. I don't know, I'm disappointed right now. I'd like to see him, and the play calling, not worry about his stat line. After all, the guy that went 16/26, 194 yds, and 2TDs got the W while the guy that went 25/37 with 313 yds, and 3TDs tacked on another one to that lowly loss column.

The run game is improved when you have a QB that makes you pay for selling out.

Don't under-estimate the QB's importance or be enamored with a stat-line. The hard part for me to understand is why some of you are so surprised. No longer can we mask our problems by just winning games, mainly because we can't win them. We have near the talent, nor depth some of you honks think we do.

This O-Line is in shambles, it's been an on going problem since Ted Thompson took over. He has depleted the depth at DT by letting Williams walk and trying to replace him with a walking injury. We don't have adequate depth at the CB position, which with the age of Al and C-Wood, might be an area of concern.

Then we put all our egg's in A-Rods basket. No longer do we have that guy who could mask the flaws of our terrific GM. 2-3 says alot. This team is not very talented and the coaching staff is unable to adjust with the youth available on this team.

Then again, it was predictable had the kool-aid been put down.

I'm not trying to pin it on A-Rod, honestly. However, I do believe we downgraded dramatically at the QB position. Because of that downgrade, the problems with this team can no longer be masked.

Regarding the points...
This year:
Points forced- 133 points
Points allowed 128 points
Net points - 5

Last year:
Points forced - 125
Points allowed - 90
Net points - 35

I think the lack of depth to overcome injuries, lack of concentration/focus, poor special teams play giving the opponents offense good field position and the massive flag total is why we are losing. If you look at the QB position, its not much of a drop off stat wise.

btw, first five games of last year ...
Eagles, Giants (SB Champs), Chargers (AFC Championship game), Vikings and Bears.

This year
Vikings, Lions, Cowboys, Buccaneers and Falcons.

For me, you can't really fault one player alone for a team's loss. It's really a team effort so Rodgers cannot take all the blame. I mean, as a QB you can only do so much when your teammates get penalties that take points off the board and leave you in situations like 3rd and 20 - not a pretty picture for any QB, no matter how great they are. Seriously, when the other team is playing a short field after EVERY punt and we're starting practically in our own end zone - come on, Rodgers needs some help here! Give the guy a chance!

But I think Rodgers has played pretty well so far - much better than I expected. Obviously, he's made some bad decisions, but he definitely has potential. One of the main issues I have with him is durability - people have been saying it from the start - he's got skills but is prone to injury. So I was not surprised to see him injured after only the 4th game. I am glad he played through it, because he still put it all out there, but I just question his long-term durability. I am really pulling for Rodgers, I want him to succeed because I love my team, so I guess we'll just have to see how the rest of the season plays out 🙂

I was just simply correcting you on your statement that we have scored more points this year than last. If you wanted to discuss net point differential you could have stated that.

What do you think is going to happen to the Def. when the offense has alot of 3 and outs and they spend more time on the field? On top of that they do have injuries. However, according to most on here, we have great depth. So we lost Jenkins, didn't we draft a DT midway through the first round not to long ago. Oh wait, he's hurt, shocker.

We beat the Vikings and the Lions. Not real impressive. It is partly on the defense and partly on the offense. I'm not blaming A-Rod solely. A-Rod didn't assemble this O-line. A-Rod didn't bring in the depth, or lack there of, on Defense.

The point is this team was never as good as most thought, alot of it was easily hidden however when our offense was clicking.

Reasons why we lost-

Not containing White or Turner
Going 3 and out on our first drive after they scored a TD
Not containing their returner after we tied the game at 17-17 leading to a field goal for them.
4th quarter interception while down 3.

Rodgers isn't to blame for the loss, but he did make a mistake that lead to the loss. That can be said for nearly every player on this team though, and there is nothing to say that this same situation could have been avoided with Favre rather than Rodgers.

Who dropped the pass on 3rd down that would have lead to a 1st down and extra set of downs?

You fail to mention it was Jennings, but are quick to point out AR faults
