Green Bay Packers rookie offensive tackle David Bakhtiari will have a busy day Sunday courtesy of Justin and Aldon Smith of the San Francisco Forty-Niners. Bakhtiari left college a year early to enter the pros but he knew that decision would mean he would have to work very hard to secure a spot on the team as a starter. “I didn’t leave school early to enter the draft to come and be a backup on the team. That’s not someone’s mentality. Whether it happens or not, that’s left up to the coaches … for me I came in here, wanted to compete and whatever opportunities were given I try and maximize them.”

I sure hope McCarthey plans on giving Bacteria some help over there tomorrow, instead of going five wide and empty. He should use the game plan from the second half of the Seahag game last year.

He played better than I expected against a very good pass rushing defense.
