Richardson has only played like 15 snaps in his entire career and was undrafted. We don't know if he's any better than McMillian or Jennings at this point. The guy could be completely terrible.

The fact that they've kept him around, hell, gone out of their way to keep him around, makes me think they want very much to see if there is anything there. Maybe, maybe he gets an opportunity. I did say the chance was slim.
Out of all 4 of these players mentioned, I'd be most excited to see Richardson actually pan out, and make a successful contribution to our team this season coming off the PUP. Barring injuries at other positions, an upgrade at Safety opposite Burnett is our greatest need. It would be nice to see if Richardson could be the answer there.
