By the time we got to training camp practice, the ushers were telling people where to sit. The spot he wanted us at we couldn't hvae seen anything. I told him of an opening in the middle and with a condescending tone said "no, no there isn't". I pointed it out to him as I did the other usher while waiting to sit. Kinda pissed me off they wouldn't let us sit ourselves. I'd rather pay a buck per ticket than have some usher tell me where to sit.
Lesson learned, next time, get there very early. :)
I decided we should at least see some of the players so we went to capture some of them riding bikes. After the pictures below were taken, we walked towards Oneida and this big fella came walking straight towards me. I was explaining how special this is for the players, especially the bottom 47 when I realized that two feet in front of me was Kevin Greene. I said "Hey Kevin" and he said "hey".
I told Lydia who it was and she freaked out. She said "OMG you were so like casual with that; how???" I told her I didn't realize who it was until he was right smack in front of us, otherwise I'd have asked for a photo with him. I'll keep that in mind next time.
