Indirectly, but advice nonetheless.

Kicking, I’ve always said, it’s 10 percent physical and 90 percent mental. I mean, I think the good Lord gave me an above-average ability to swing my right leg, and a really, really strong mind and faith. And that’s what it takes to kick in this league. I remember in ’01, we went through a tough stretch of missing kicks and it doesn’t become as much physical. You don’t really get the yips kicking because your leg and hip joint can only go a certain direction. So it really becomes how you handle the pressure you put on yourself and it becomes a mental game of getting yourself in the same mindset, the same routine and the same rhythm. So for me, I was never a guy that watched film and never studied technique. I would always go back to rhythm. I had a DVD of Jason Hanson kicking, and whenever I felt I was getting off (track), I would go watch that DVD and his rhythm was exactly what I wanted and when it was on, it was smooth. I think that was what I always went back to when you were getting a little off – it’s the rhythm and the timing of the whole thing.

I really hope Crosby can snap out of it otherwise we'll be moving forward with Tavecchio. With our luck Crosby will go on to succeed elsewhere and we'll be remiss about what might have been.

Longwell to Crosby:
"Mason.....keep missing kicks like that and they will send you off to some place where NO ONE wants to go.....like Minnesota."

Carpenter spent the last five years with the Dolphins, connecting on 81.9 percent of his field goal tries over that time and going to the Pro Bowl after the 2009 season. He made both field goals he tried in the Hall of Fame Game, but didn’t try any kicks during the Dolphins’ second preseason game against the Jaguars. The Dolphins will save $2.675 million by cutting Carpenter.

The grass IS ALWAYS greener on the other side of the fence!!!

Can't wait for Ted to bring in every vet that has been released by other teams, the 2013 version of The Green Bay Packers will then be unbeatable!!!!

Crosby or Tevecchio, if both fail, which I don't see happening, then there will be plenty of guys to chose from.

Not many better than Crosby when it comes to height and distance, I'm betting come opening day Mason will be the man.

The competition has been good, but in the end, IMHO, Mike doesn't want a change.

Not sure this wouldn't be trading one problem for the same.

dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.

Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Cowboys 1st round pick Tyler Booker will indeed be bringing his pet turtle to Dallas with him
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : that contained all prospects info and contact
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : beast, according the Falcons statement Jax came across it on an ipad. If I had to guess, probably an open spread sheet or something
