I want him out there, but I don't want him out there at less than 100%, and I certainly don't want him out there jeopardizing his future health and contributions.

I don't think the Pack rolls that way, I bet they go get him fixed up.

Damn, this one sucks. I loved the moves the Pack made this off-season on that o-line. Let's all just hope that this turn of events does not hose us for the 2013 season.

Maybe we will get lucky with the 4th round pick kid, or whomever. I keep saying, "draft o-linemen"....

Damn.

I would think playing with a torn ACL would put an enormous amount of stress of the other knee ligaments, the hamstring, the quad, and even the ankle. Mankins also eventually tore another ligament in the playoffs, I think. Overall, it would just seem like playing on a torn ACL would result in further injury to the knee, and a longer recovery time which could affect his availability next season. After all, if it's torn, surgery is inevitable anyway, right? If he waits until late in the season, he might not be healthy for training camp next season. Doesn't seem worth it to have a less than 100% Bulaga for this season, in which he probably wouldn't last the whole season anyway.

However like I said before, structure is different from functionality. I personally would encourage him to get the structural integrity set before he plays again, but if a guy like Dr. Andrews clears him, I could give him functionality in the joint.

Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : Too bad camera's can't spot the ball as well.
Mucky Tundra (1-Apr) : So will the chain gang be gone completely or will they still be around as a backup or whatever?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : A big step in the right direction. Just put in the college system is very very good.
