I can't forget him; Unfortunately, it's the image of him dropping passes that I can't get out of my head. Yeah, I'm open to the idea of him really breaking out in his contract year, even more than the second half of last season, especially with the enhanced running game and hopefully better O Line play, but honestly, I'm not holding my breath.

We hear the same thing EVERY year.

This year, he MIGHT break out!

Last year he sucked shit, until Aaron started meeting with him the night before games, to teach him the offensive game plan. And perhaps to keep him from partying the night before. Voila! Suddenly he started to look a little better on Sundays.

Still wasn't great, but he looked good.

And he did start last year like shit He did have a shoulder (or something injury) but I was often complained it look like he wasn't trying. I remember the Rams game, they placed a run stopping LB on him who struggled in coverage. Finley would time after time beat the LB at first only to turn, stop and let the LB catch back up to him.

Rodgers threw him the ball a couple of times where if he didn't stop he would of had a 20+ yarder but he would stop giving the time for the LB to catch up to him and get his hand in between Finley's hands and knock it down. He ended up getting 2 catches for 31 yards... but if didn't stop (and they didn't switch who was covering him) he should of had AT LEAST 6 catches for 80 yards at minimum.

I know nothing about the meetings but I remember Rodgers started horsing around with Finley on the field and Finley suddenly started to play better and they were jumping in the air, high fiving, doing little dances... and Finley suddenly seemed to try as hard as he can. Seems like when Finley is doing his best is when he's having fun... and he has fun when gets positive playful attention from others.

Quarless had his own maturity issues, but the dude went through puberty before this injury and was probably the best blocker on the team. Certainly at his position. But he's always been a pass catching TE as well. With the adversity he's been through, dude's gonna be hungry. MARK IT DOWN!

I think (tight end) Jermichael (Finley) looks excellent. He’s put weight back on. He’s back at his playing weight. He’s stronger, he’s playing with more confidence. I really like the offseason Jermichael has put together so far.

I forgot about Finley getting lighter because he wanted wide receiver money. I'm not sure what it is about we Packer fans, but showboating turns us off somehow. And Finley has a lot of that about him. Maybe we don't understand him, but if he starts breaking off those 20-30 yard gainers down the guts of a defense, I don't care what he does. I don't want to see Finley go to the Cowboys, cause I think he has elite talent, if we could only do something about the 10 cent head.

I believe Finley has the talent to be an elite TE. However, all his talk and all the talk about him mean absolutely zero to me because I 've heard and read so much. The only thing that interests me at this point is what he does on the field.

I know I am ready for him to finally have that breakout year. He has flashed that ability enough in the past that I want to see it for 19 games. Ok 23 games if you count the pretend ones.

I would love for Uncle Teddy to be in a quandary about whether to keep JerMike or not after he has an All Pro season.

I'm sure the answer is no... but can we trade

Finley, James Jones, Hawk and Wilson to the Saints for TE Jimmy Graham?

Not sure if I would really want that trade but I'd think about it. Other than maybe Hawk, I think all their contracts are up after this year.

I also thought about adding a DB but I'm sure the Packers want to keep theirs (and Saints wouldn't want Williams contract)
Also thougth about Newhouse as the Saints need a LT and I'm sure Newhouse wants to stay at LT.
But the Packers need a RT... and while I like Barclay, I'm not 100% sold on him, Sherrod is still not healthy and don't know what we'll see out of him and the rook Baksomething might be the next guy in line (unless Datko improved a ton). Thought I might even gamble with Newhouse.

After all Graham is one of the better WRs in the NFL. I think he's used and played more like a 6'7" WR than TE, so I'm calling him a WR.

In 2011 he had 99 catches for 1,310 yards... that's WR numbers.

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.

beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
