I say again, "can't we all just get along?" hahahaha.

For 16 years or whatever, we had the greatest player in the history or the NFL. Now, with no period of uncomfortable transition between, we have the best player in the NFL, possibly in any sport, who if he stays healthy and plays long enough will go on to become the greatest ever.

I, for one, am damn thankful.

In all seriousness, and that is kind of a funny way to start when talking about Favre, let's just get this done. I too hated his exit, and all the trash that followed. Rodgers' comments regarding retiring Favre's number was a great gesture by him and it is a good start to bringing Brett back into the Packers fold, and getting this accomplished. The guy was crazy fun to watch more often than not. He had plenty of his own failings, but brought us some great football along the way. I think every Packer fan can agree on that.

Retire his number already and move on...
