Michael Crabtree - Torn Achilles

While it certainly sucks for the young man.. it helps the Packers and the NFC.

The 49ers suffered a major blow during OTAs, as wide receiver Michael Crabtree suffered what could be a season-ending injury.

According to Mike Garafolo of USA Today, Crabtree tore his Achilles during a workout Tuesday, and will need surgery to repair the injury.

I don't get how some of those Niner fans think losing their #1 receiver is no big deal. Oh well, shit happens and we'll see if they can overcome the injury. The 2010 Packers are an amazing story.

i hate it for crabtree but its one less weapon the niners can use. i have mixed thoughts on this. one thought is now that he is out how do we really know we have an answer for the read option . the second thought is one less weapon could be the downfall of the niners this year. but overall its going to make the niners vs packers fun to watch. i must wonder if the niners go out and get a t.o. or a johnson or bring moss back to fill this void
