One thing that pleases me. We saw a lot less of the "pinball" style of tackles where the DB simply throws his shoulder at the ball carrier and hopes that he knocks him down.

When I saw A.J. Hawk so statistically good, baseball came to mind. A lot of limited range shortstops (I can't think of an ideal example) have great fielding percentages but fail to get to a lot of balls. Some of the stars at that position end up with some errors by going for the tough ones or throwing it away after a great stop.
I definitely agree about the noticeable improvement in DBs tackling sure.
The elephant(s) in the room here, I think, are our mammoth D Linemen who probably did a good job of not getting their tackles broken, but by appearances anyway, were horrible at pursuit and even getting in position to stop bursts into the line - Peterson, yeah, but a lot of others getting away with the same thing. I think Datone Jones and possibly a healthy Mike Neal will help that situation a lot.
