This is mrs. Cheesey. Last night (Monday the 13th)
Cheesey was hit by a car while crossing a
Parking lot to do our laundry. He was bleeding profusely
From the head. The woman that hit him
Did render assistance, holding a towel
On his head wound to try to slow the bloodloss.
It took 6 stitches to close it. Both his knees are hurt,
Making it very hard to walk. Also his rib cage on the left
Is badly bruised.
Cheesey didn't want me to "bother" you with
Another one of his "problems", but I thought
You might like to know.
I know from what cheesey told me, some on this site
Had disagreements with him and he felt
Not as welcome anymore. I watched him cry
Enough about it.
With his menieres disease head wounds are
More serious. I hope no one makes light
Of this.
Thank you
Mrs. Cheesey (lauriejean)

Alan's been weighing on my heart a lot lately. If you ever see this LJ, please tell him that Formo misses his buddy. Seriously. And I hope you and him both keep checking in as I know there are far enough of us here that not only miss him but love him as well.

You both are in my thoughts, heart, and prayers. Love you.

Alan is a friend to all of us. I can't think of anyone in here that does not like him.

I hope he is ok.

Hope Cheesey gets better and gets back here. So unfortunate for this to happen to him.

I'm so sorry to hear. My thoughts and prayers go out to both of you. I wish him a speedy recovery.

And as for the disagreements, I'd have a guess as to which topics those might be. If I'm right, on at least one of them, I'd be one of the posters that disagreed with him. That said, I'd never want him to feel unwelcome on this site just because I might disagree with him on a certain topic. I don't post here all that much but I do check the site most days and have for close to 5 years now. I've always enjoyed his posts; I imagine everyone else feels the same.

Again, I wish him well and send my regards.

Nobody holds any resentment to Alan for his beliefs. He is a sensitive caring guy and he lets words affect him. Sometimes we get a little heated in here.

I hope he heals from his injuries - that's a bad thing to happen to anybody, but especially for someone with his medical problems.

Come on back Cheesey, you're needed. Nobody tells a bad joke like you do.

Alan can absolutely not go silent because of a few bad apples as the good FAR outweigh the bad. Point is, every family has their arguments. We work together to get through them and subsequently become closer.

And for the important part. I hope Alan heals quickly. In the meantime, I found a few threads he should read to remember there are many here who care.

I am very sorry to hear that Alan has been hit by a car YET AGAIN. I am rather disappointed he didn't do his patent pending back flip and avoid serious injury this time. I guess it was too hard to do with a basket of clothes.

I saw Alan wade into those political type discussions and let everyone know what he believes. I admire him for that. They are too frustrating for me so I tend to avoid most of them. I would rather stick to Packer issues and things that are not so emotionally charged.

I will pray for him for a quick recovery and you as well LJ this is very hard on you I am sure.

As other said this is a family. Dysfunctional to be sure but family none the less and we are lacking without the twisted cheese perspective of Alan.

Hurry home (PackersHome that is. We hope all are forgiven.)
