Going to have a nice 1-2-3 punch with Lacy, Franklin and Harris in the backfield.

Cannot wait.

If I were Starks or Green, I'd really focus on pass catching and/or pass blocking this offseason because it'll probably be the only way one of them makes the team at this rate.

A surprising degree of negativity or at least lack of enthusiasm for Lacey in some posts here.

To me, this says they are not 100% sold on Harris being as good as he looked late last season. I certainly don't see Lacey as a fullback, although I doubt that's what you guys were talking about. Using Lacey in short yardage, yeah, but I see him as a 3-down back, although in rotation with Harris and/or Franklin.

Shades of 2003?! Three capable starting rushers on the roster? I LIKE.

This has nothing to do with Harris, and everything to do with Starks and Green being so unavailable and inconsistent.

We actually have the beginnings of a power running game in Green Bay. Amazing! This may be just what McCarthy needed to get more creative, committed to going to the run. Now, it looks like we have the horses to run all day on anyone. Lots of work to do with our OL in run blocking, but I like where this is going. Franklin in this rotation will be awesome!

and like you said p2w - get our Oline to do good with run blocking; we need to run nice screens like the packers used to do with blockers running down field.

I'll jump in on a wager and take Lacy.

What shall we bet?

wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
