Sleep on? The kid's getting more attention than Lacy, so I'm not sure anyone's sleeping on him.
The way that article's written is like you have to pick a player where he's slotted on the experts draft boards or something. It makes little sense. They had a 2nd round grade on Lacy and, maybe, a 3rd round grade on Franklin, which is why you trade up when you're getting that much value.
I have pretty high hopes for both backs. They're very different players. This isn't just drafting in the hopes that one of them will pan out, it's drafting in the hope that both will compliment eachother. With Harris on the roster already, maybe we'll have a Giants-like Bradshaw, Jacobs, Ward backfield.
As to Franklin himself, I'm quite impressed. I see why some scouts had him nr. 1 or 2 on their boards. He can do it all, but not in a jack of all trades, master of none way, but as someone who can be a proper RB, with STs and receiving skills.
