Patriots RAPED them. 4 picks?? For Cordarelle Patterson?

Nice receiver, but hardly worth a 2, a 3, a 4 and a 6...

We need to pay attention and follow suit a little. Ted, do some dealing and get us up to get an extra pick tomorrow. We don't have room for many rookies because of your ability to draft well, good time for better quality instead of quantity.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

The only pick that would have made this better for me would be if they had taken Te'o.

....then again hearing Mayock say 3 times the Vikings would take him and be wrong repeatedly was pretty enjoyable.

Anyway, I keep hearing about how after the elite 10-15 or so players there was a big drop off but then little difference through the next round or two. I hope that is the case. Would be the worst timing to take three late first round picks.

Money just isn't an issue regarding the draft anymore. There's a rookie cap and it is team friendly.

First, they hit a homerun with Sharrif Floyd. He fell because of short arms. That's a motivator. This guy is going to destroy EDS and T.J. Lang. I'm not looking forward to watching that.

With that said, they gave up too much for Cordarrelle Patterson. This draft’s value is rounds two, three, and four. You can get so many good players, especially at wide receiver (Markus Wheaton) in those rounds.

Would you rather have Robert Woods & Jon Bostic or Patterson?

I’ll take Woods and Bostic, but obviously, Minnesota really valued as many as four players in this draft, if we assume their interest in Manti Te’o was legitimate. They got three of them, so Viking fans should be excited about that.

All they need now is Ponder to be able to throw to wide open receivers (which there will be) and they helped their defense. Good thing they don't have an elite qb or their offense would be very scary. I will go on record and say AP will break the rushing record this year. They now have a wr corp with Jennings and Rudolph and Patterson, and of course AP out of the backfield.

I don't see them being done trading just yet.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I liked their first pick. Didn't hear much about their second and their third everyone says was a big reach.
