If they resign Greg FInley is gone.

Maybe Stephen Jackson sneaks onto the roster somehow, and I would consider him a positive signing at RB.
Personally, I really like Jennings, but have considered him to be gone anyways. Can we even afford him at $10M? $11M? That is a big question, difficult to answer.
Finley is good, and I've been hoping he would improve, but I doubt his needing special Sunday night meetings with Rodgers in order to be closer to "on the same page" is doing him any favors. The value just doesn't look to be there. $8M.
Add Shields into the mix, a player who is young, experienced, and still up and coming, and his price tag will be high too - but IMO, a player we should keep.
Who else to we have that is higher priced and under performing, or maybe just not worth the price paid? Kind of a tough question, as the list includes some popular players, but I would have to say Tramon Williams $8.5M, John Kuhn $2.5M, AJ Hawk $7M, and Mason Crosby $3.15M make that list. Desmond Bishop? He's coming off the ACL injury with a $4.7M cap hit. I love the guy, and someone who was injured shouldn't lose his job due to the injury, but it happens on some teams. The figures listed are just the cap #s, not cap savings should any of them be cut.
I think we can look at what the Ravens have done as a bit of an indicator. They unloaded a huge number of good, popular players to make room for Flacco's contract. We may have to do the same. Adding FAs may be a bit of a stretch for us.
